That's right, oh VIVA! Anyone that has the slightest interest in vintage or retro fashion, oldies music, rockabilly, or pinup modeling probably already knows about Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend (VIVA), even if they haven't been there yet. If not, NOW is a great time to learn and prepare for next year.
VIVA is an event that happens every year, the third weekend in April (Thursday-Sunday) that is packed full of music, activities, shows, classic cars, burlesque, swing/jive dancing, bowling, shopping, and pool parties all themed around 1940's & 50's.
This was my third year in a row attending the event, each being better than the last. I was extremely excited to not only attend this year, but to also be able to model for two of the designers that were featured in the fashion show in The Showroom at The Orleans.
I am extremely honored that I was able to model for Swearing Parrot and Retro-Verte. It was a special moment to be able to take the stage and have support from my family watching in the audience. A huge thanks to the designers for allowing me this opportunity, and I hope that I will be considered for working with you again in the future.

Besides being excited to be modeling in the fashion show this year, I was also very happy to be wearing a couple of my very own designs (PMdesigns by Pamela Marie) that I made myself. Since there are so many people that attend this event, chances are pretty great that you might run into someone else wearing the same dress or even swimsuit. By wearing my own, I knew that I would be wearing a unique and original piece.
If you didn't get a chance to make it to VIVA this year, keep a look out for other similar events. You can definitely find me next vending Hollyville for my first event at Nashville Boogie, so make sure to stop by and say "Howdy!"
